Good Morning by shortenough Good Morning by shortenough
So we have just started our graphics specialism at college and for our short project we were asked to create words showing their meanings in a variety if different media.

This was originally my first idea and it's still my favourite. Im really happy with how this came out, although i should have been more prepared and bought ingredients rather than just raid my parents kitchen cupboards :D

This is what everyone should see when they wake up. I loved this so much, I added this on the desktop on the computer in the vinyl room of my job. I even sent it to my friend who is an artist, and she loved it. Who wouldn't wanna wake up to this?

So did you listen?

Me curious!

haha

I dig all the links!

oh man, can't you just come to the show?

I'm sure there's some kind of time travel skill that you could learn, or time travel 80's car you could steal.

I saw your tumblr site. It's cool. Not as weird as I wanted. So I left right away

jk

Nice. I play guitar.

I love blues. if you listen to the songs, you could get that.

But, yeah, blues is my heart.

I was at a bar tonight, with a bunch of co workers. played this one song, a cover of an old skip james song. man...silence. it was...fuck. that's what you want. everyone to just stop, as if they are feeling it personally. like a personal recharge. it hits you that hard and so good.

it was rad seeing everyone just stop and listen. so good.

Busking is rad! there's a busking video of my band! we played at this event called busker fest in long beach.

more details on that. after i'm not tired. but the premise is having bands play on 3 flat bed trucks...not power.

i do dig the music store. i get to really network, learn about a lot of music, surround myself.

i get to do a lot.

i do appreciate it. fun times. can be tedious, strenuous and ridiculous. but for the most part it
s good times.

so what's primark?

does your manager say you got red on you? ha :P

Yeah it was awesome really gritty and I loved it

Unfortunately I'm not rich enough to have my own time travel method but could borrow my neighbours possibly

I did try to make it more normal for your arrival
I tidied up and everything

Oh awesome skip James is great
Yeah I love that feeling when you just get into the music and its all about the feeling
That's why I love playing blues

Do you busk a lot?

Yeah working in a music store sounds great
Tbh my graphics job is like I'm their IT girl
They see me as some sort of computer guru

Primark is a cheap clothing store we have in the UK I think it's called something else in Ireland.
A lot of weird shit happens there because the people who shop there come from this place I like to call the mutant mile

Nice Shaun of the dead reference there

haha

Righteous, bruv!

Glad you dug the demo.

Man, you reply so swiftly. I love it. I'm gonna start calling you swift, like the fox in David the Gnome.

Swift, I did enjoy the cleanliness. I arrived without a Will Smith Hitch.

The wolf was a great driver and guide.

You know Skip James? Werd! That's my hero.

Alvin Youngblood Hart covering Illinois Blues just killllls me.

haha no I don't busk a lot. We just played this event called Buskerfest. Where there were 3 flatbed truck stages. And 12 bands.

It was a competition. Bands competed for these coins. Whoever got the most coins won.

We had a bag on our stage, and people went to a booth to get 7 coins, and distributed them to the bands they liked.

Pretty fun.

We came in 2nd. :(

But, it was sooo much fun.

Also, bands weren't supplied power or anything like that. Some bands kinda cheated and used the truck's battery.

I wanted to be more creative. So I used a megaphone for vocals, a battery amp, and a ghetto blaster/boom box, in which I ran a mic from that, into the amp.

So I was playing guitar out of the boom box. haha

Wild.

Primark. Interesting.

yeah, people stealin' mannequins and shit. Wowza

Here's a video of us from Buskerfest. We came up with this routine for our song called, Zombie Blues.

I'm so stoked someone got it on video. That song was so much fun to play. I couldn't believe the crowd of people there.
